The autonomous aircraft features a 3-meter wingspan with 4-hour endurance capability, built on the PX4 platform for precise waypoint following with sub-meter accuracy. Tested protocols for long-range telemetry validation, with verified failsafe return-to-home functionality and reliable communication links tested at 50-kilometer ranges.

Our team of 10 high school students spent two years designing and building a solar-powered race car from scratch to compete in the 2025 Texas Solar Car Challenge. Starting with just CAD models and a lot of ambition, we built everything from the carbon fiber aeroshell to the 429-cell lithium battery pack, learning to weld, design eletronics, and work with composites along the way. The final car could cruise at highway speeds powered entirely by the sun. After 1,200+ miles of driving through four days of racing through Texas, we are proud to have brought home 2nd place nationally.
